Here is a Guide to unlocking Understory Layer. To Begin with your tree on the map will be grey and you cannot click it, but this guide will help you unlock it.

 Use the Vines to Enter:

2.Ultrasaurus Tiki Lounge In Hillside Canopy-R

3.Bucklands Peak-P

    4.Secret temple In Dino Dunes-T

 5.Rolling Hills Chamber In Prarie Pool-O

 6.Jurassic Fort in Webo Ridge -T

 7.Sub Alpine Forest Camposaurus Tent-E

Then, Go to Hillside Canopy and Click on the Vines

Now Use all the Letter to Spell Treetops, Click Submit

Well Done Dinos you Unlocked the Understory Layer!
