Pie Day!

Saturday is National Pie Day! We know you love pie. You know we love pie. Did you know that Horns loves pie too? Yeah, conditions are perfect for a party.

This Saturday Horns and the mods are going to be celebrating National Pie Day at the Camposaurus Canvas Tent in the Sub-Alpine Forest. Horns wants to see who can bake the best pie. If there are any leftovers after we’ve demolished the goods, they’ll be taken outside for a massive pie fight!!

Horns also wants to give you something special… As you can see above, he’s been cooking up quite a few batches of his newly created Swamp Juice Pie a la mode!! You can get his delicious pie in the upcoming scavenger. Party starts this Saturday at 12:00 WST in the Jurassic server. Come celebrate!

ChrisDog Blowin' It up!

Well that was another awesome party from Chrisdog! Today we went to the trenches at the Tonto Plateau and played some hardcore games of Demolition Derby. Okay, so we did take a few breaks to boogie down on Dance Party (but for the record we’ll just pretend it was Demolition Derby, okay?).

The party didn’t stop there and we moseyed on over to the Croc Peninsula Treefort for a few shaking games of basketball. Then a stop to the Gushing Geyser and then the Hillside Canopy for a few final rounds of Powerlifting!!! Could it get any better?

Yep, because right after everyone went to the Jungle Beach for a party that Chipmunk was throwing. What a party filled day in Webosaurs!

Theatre Night ROCKED!

Hey everyone! We had a great night at Theater Night tonight. In fact I’d say it could be the best one we’ve done. We had more actual groups perform than ever before, with some really great skits coming out of it! It was hard to pick winners out of all the awesome thespians we had on stage tonight.

If you haven’t been to Theater Night before, this is one you really don’t want to miss. Comedy Night is great, but Theater Night takes practice and the dinos really showed off their planning tonight.

Here are the dinos who will soon be awarded with some cheesey trophies for their extra-outstanding performances:

Theater Night

Oh boy, who’s ready for another awesome THEATER NIGHT!? Hurry and get your groups together because we’re going to be holding it this Friday at 17:00 WST in the Lizard Lounge.

For those of you who haven’t done a Theater Night before, it’s a lot like Comedy Night except a lot more preparation goes into it. You will need to get together with a group (1 or more other people) and come up with a skit or act that you can perform for everyone on stage at the Lizard Lounge.

No need to sign up for the event, everyone with a group will be allowed to perform their skit. However, if you don’t have a group or anything prepared please wait until the next Comedy Night.

There will be a panel of judges and winning groups will win coin codes and cheesy trophies! Get your groups together now! WOOT WOOOT!

We’re going to do another all out set all afternoon. The afternoon mods will be logging in as “Findmeosaur” to conduct the Find the Mod hunts. Be warned, that account will not be accepting friend requests to make the Find the Mod hunts fair for everyone.

It’s about time to gear up for another rockin’ member’s party at the Bluggin’ Beach Bunker. That time will be exactly 14:00 WST on Saturday when Rexxy and Horns come to the island to throw down like VIPs should. For all you lucky members this party will be held exclusively for YOU.

Rexxy Webosode Tour

Rexxy is getting anxious to have another round of webosode viewing! He wants to invite you to join him this Friday to tour the island and check out all of the webosodes! It’s been a while since we’ve had a full tour of all the wonderful videos Nigel Marven made for Webosaurs and we’re ready to do it again!

You can meet Rexxy at the Croc Peninsula this Friday at 17:00 WST where he’ll start out with the Mochlodon theater and work around the island. You can watch webosodes with him, chat and even add him as a friend! Meet in the Jurassic server for this bluggin’ good time.

If you aren’t familiar, we encourage our Protectosaurs to meet up as a group once a week to discuss issues on the island and other items of interest. However, the meetings aren’t closed off to only Pros - they are more like Town Hall style meetings for everyone to discuss island business. Everyone has an equal stake in Webosaurs and we would love to hear what is on your mind. Come by and chat, but please remember to be respectful as we try to run our meetings in an organized fashion!

Jungle Beach Party!

Today we had our second ever blowout party at Jungle Beach with our good pals Rexxy and Horns. It was a Back-To-School extravaganza as everyone hung out on the beach and caught some rays. Think maybe Horns will ever be able to get a tan?
Sounds like everyone really had a blast at the event today. Horns even gave out a bunch of coin codes to everyone!
While we’re sad to have the holiday fun pass us by, we can appreciate the great time we had in the last month and look forward to an action packed 2010 with more updates, more parties and more crazy fun things to come in the coming months.
